Within the project we have set up a preparation / training center for the students and employees in the field in order to reduce the migration of the workers from the TC industry. More than 190 people attended the training sessions for the improvement of work and management skills. The content of the courses was developed in collaboration with the business environment (representatives of the textile and clothing companies), which also contributed to the selection of the students. 96% of the trainees passed the final tests and reported an increases in the level of confidence. An improvement in the turnover of TCs has been reported and also a decrease in the number of people leaving TC companies. We also organized 4 workshops in Switzerland and training sessions to improve the teaching skills of the lecturers from Romania. During these meetings, 44 participants from Romania and Switzerland were trained on how to use the welding and laser cutting machines, how to use modern design software specific to the textile industry and various methods of modern teaching, conflict management and student / staff monitoring have been debated.
