Increasing the capacity of non-governmental organizations from lasi county in providing social services for children and youth with disabilities

During the project, 60 children and young people with disabilities have benefited from psycho-social-medical services such as psychological counseling and socialization, kinetotherapy, speech therapy and social assistance in two specialized centers in Iasi. Also, 6 young people with autism have benefited from occupational therapy, a new service developed in the ANCAAR Iasi Center. Another important result of the project is the training of 41 specialists from NGOs in the field of protection of people with disabilities from Iasi County in the following fields: lobbying and advocacy, specific therapies for people with disabilities, management of a social economy enterprise. We have also organized working groups to promote good practices in providing services to people with disabilities, as well as advocacy and lobbying actions aimed at recommendations for legislative initiatives in the field of protection of people with disabilities.
