We have created the Coalition for the Rights of Migrants and Refugees to propose legislative changes that facilitate foreigners’ access to educational, medical, occupational and other public services. In this regard, we have conducted a research that thoroughly analyzed the implementation of immigration policies with an impact on the labor market, entrepreneurship and foreign investment. The advocacy priorities we have pursued referred to obtaining the right to practice for foreign doctors, obtaining employment notice for family members, citizenship law etc. The actions undertaken have benefited from the support of certain publicly-owned institutions, and some of the proposals have been taken over or are in the process of being integrated into public policies.
