Throughout the project implementation period, we have informed and reached about 9,000 people with regard to the rights of HIV-positive persons. Also, 200 HIV-positive patients from the counties of Cluj, Bihor, Maramures, Vrancea, Olt, Valcea, Dambovita and Arges were motivated and supported to get involved in solving the difficulties encountered. In this context, an association of patients was established in Galati County. We also had meetings with representatives of the National Health Insurance House, the Ministry of Health, “”Victor Babes”” Infectious and Tropical Diseases Hospital and “”Matei Bals”” Institute of Infectious Diseases, regarding the ensurance the treatment for HIV-positive people and discussed about the frequently treatment discontinuation.
