Within the project, 50 teachers were selected and trained to develop 20 community IMPACT initiative clubs, using an educational model that improves pupils’ life skills. More than 400 pupils from rural areas, members of these clubs, took part in community-based games and projects on topics such as creating a library in school and refurbishing certain facilities such as the sports ground or the school park. Also, 150 teachers teaching in rural areas or in technical high schools have been trained to promote civic values and to develop students’ skills in this field.
