The project contributes to improving national education policies by developing and promoting a Strategy for Parenting Education implemented by professionals from diverse backgrounds within a parent support system. It is based on modern, democratic principles and encourages the active role of parents in the education of their own children. The project benefitted from the support of the Ministry of National Education and Research, the National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, UNICEF and other governmental institutions in the field of education and child protection. Also, in close collaboration with the NGO in Switzerland “Formation des Parents”, several working tools useful for parents in Romania have been developed.
