Through this project, ANCAAR – Iasi branch has set up 3 types of services: Sherborne therapy, ergotherapy and a therapy program for children from rural areas, at Strunga center, at home or at school/ kindergarten. 52 children and young people diagnosed with autism and associated deficiencies from urban and rural areas in Iasi County, have benefited from specialized services. 58 parents and family members and 30 specialists from NGOs and public institutions have participated in workshops where they were trained on information and support tools in working with people with disabilities. We also provided free legal counseling regarding the rights of children with disabilities and their legal representatives, individual advice regarding rights violation, and legal assistance in cases of rights violation of disabled people and their family members. As part of the project, we also organized the public show “”Show That You Care””, which aimed at informing and raising awareness in regard of people with autism.
