50 children in situations of social risk and over 20 high school students have developed their life skills through social puppet theater, an innovative method of interaction and socialization. The theater hall of “Aproape de Tine” Multifunctional Social Assistance Center, equipped with personalized puppets during this project, hosted 11 performances attended by approximately 1,300 children and 80 teachers. At the same time, 140 professionals from non-governmental organizations have learned through workshops and trainings with the project team members how this method works and what are the effects among children and young people in situations of social exclusion.
