Through the project’s activities, we have long consolidated the capacity of Bihor county to provide better mountain rescue services to the community and tourists, benefiting from the Swiss knowledge and expertise in this field. We have set up the first training center equipped with technical, medical and teaching equipment specifically designed to train mountain rescuers in Romania. Through the exchange of experience with the State Chancellery St. Gallen Switzerland and Grabs Hospital Switzerland, we succeeded in implementing a functional and efficient system for the mountain rescue patrol in the ski area of Bihor County.
