Through the activities of the project, we have supported the efforts of local communities to protect and promote the environment and the natural resources through the training of local guides for the protected areas. Through the collaboration between protected area custodians and experts from Switzerland, we have developed the “The Custodian Guide for Protected Areas” and “Good Practice Collection for the Sustainable Development of the Communities from the Protected Areas”. We have also organized educational actions, such as making a 3D movie about protected areas, whose trailer is available here: https://bit.ly/2DZH7sk. Furthermore, we organized the “Itinerant Museum”, an exhibition of vegetation and geology exhibits specific to the protected areas.
