Ozone depleting substances - characterization, identification, information and public awareness

Our objective was to strengthen and promote the role of NGOs in environmental protection through the dissemination of information on ozone-depleting substances (ODS). We have developed consultative materials and implemented an integrated information system, based on the ODS characterization and identification in the environment. The project was aimed to inform and raise awareness about the use of ODS and their alternatives, as well as of participatory mechanisms in the decision-making process. In this regard, we were able to inform 7,600 people through the seminars and the specialised events that we organized, and through different materials, but also through the website of the project.
