Through this project, 40 adults with intellectual disabilities and 63 family members have benefited from individualized assistance such as respite care services and medical care services at the center or at home. We have managed to provide night accommodation for 15 people with disabilities for periods between 1 to 6 days in family crisis situations. We have also organized 14 family/ friends support groups. The respite care services developed during the project were included in the half yearly Social Inclusion Plan of Timis County, thus ensuring the services’ sustainability.
