The project aimed to implement a permanent service for children and parents hospitalized in the Clinic of Plastic Surgery Reconstructive Microsurgery and Burns of the Clinical Emergency Hospital for Children “Grigore Alexandrescu” in Bucharest. 2,814 children and adults took part in daily recreational, educational activities, workshops of art therapy, play and drama therapy, thus reducing the anxiety associated with hospitalization and/or surgery. The topic was also addressed at a round table aimed at providing complementary services to healthcare professionals, attended by 28 representatives of the hospital and of NGOs for child protection.
