Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme
Civic Engagement Programme is one of the 11 thematic programmes launched under the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme, as part of the second Swiss Contribution aiming to reduce economic and social disparities within the EU and Romania.
Civic Engagement & Transparency
The objective of the Civic Engagement Programme is to strengthen civil society participation and support non-governmental and non-profit organizations in Romania in promoting democracy, transparency, and active citizen involvement in public life.
Civic Engagement Programme comprises two distinct funding instruments:
1st window
Large grants
through pre-defined projects delivering impact at the national and/or regional level with an integrated approach
2nd window
Small grants
through pre-defined projects delivering impact at local level, covering relevant areas of the Programme
Specific activities aiming the capacity building for NGOs are provided at the project level, but also at the Programme level.
