As a result of this project, we have gained an increased participation, improved the frequency and school performance of Roma ethnic pupils from primary and secondary education from two schools: Secondary School no. 3 Giurgiu and Secondary School no. 1 Razvani, Calarasi County. The project specialists team together with the teachers from the two schools have contributed to the development of intercultural skills and abilities, as well as individual and ethnic self-esteem for over 200 pupils and their parents. We have organized afterschool programs and provided intensive education support and parenting guidance. At the level of the two communities an efficient dialogue with the local authorities was achieved, thus the project was taken over by the schools and continued with the financial support of the city halls.
